New Exhaust setup.. New tunes?
Hey Corey and Bill!
Been a while since I have talked to you guys, almost a year already! How time fly's. Well I have been enjoying my Gryphon for its performance improvements and great towing capability for a while now with my exhaust set-up being a SI/DO Flowmaster 50 series dumped before the rear axle, however, I never really liked this exhaust setup and went to a new one. My new exhaust is a Magnapak (straight through design) which exits at about the same distance from the rear of the truck, just out in front of the rear tires. I will include a picture at the end of this post so that you can see clearly. I was just curious if my change in exhaust (muffler) and piping would make it necessary for an adjustment to my tunes? Thanks in advance guys! Hope you had fun at SEMA. Talk to you soon. Joseph S. http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/m...bluram/007.jpg |
As long as the headers, cats, and Y weren't touched or changed. No new recalibrations would be required for a muffler change.
Of course I am not to familier with your mods and if you have done anything else to your system. JMHO Lars |
Oh yah,
If possible if you could update your user cp with some info like: mods, hex calibration code, serial number. Thanx Lars |
