Intake droan and a question about clearing it up with timing???

I just found this thread and I'm curious. If the drone is resonance in the intake tube then how come raising the timing will help get rid of it? I would think that the timing wouldn't be a significant factor, but that is just my hypothesis. :nerd:

I don't have an answer for you but I AM going to move this thread to the Gryphon section, because that's probably where it really belongs.

Hopefully, Bill will see it sometime and will provide an answer. I'm sure it will be after Corey gets over the flu though.
