Lope tune drivin?

Is the lope tune driveable or is it just to make cool noise at a stop?

it is only at idle.the second you press the go pedal it goes away..its just to make sound at idle..very drivable.

Is there a performance gain with this tune. I just ordered the standard tune, so if there is a custom tune with a performance gain, well maybe next time.

Lope tunes are usually based on 120 or 140 HP programs. Smoke Show files are the same.

So if the lope tune is based on the 120 or 140hp settings, how does it differ from those performance wise? I am still "green" when it comes to all this.:D

It doesn't differ performance wise. The tune is strictly altered in the idle RPM range only and performance wise, the truck would run the same as it would in a 120+HP setting. Although it's possible to make ANY horsepower tune lope....even stock.

So if Bill bases the lope on the 120hp tune you get the lope with B@LL$. Is this right?

Yes.

Sounds ....uh..... "cool" at an idle but when you mash the go-pedal you're gone.
