Gryphon ordered! But have a couple questions.

1. I have the K&N FIPK and Flowmaster 50 series SI/DO...
Should I not run the Gryphon until I get my custom tunes? (Because of the intake)

2. When I receive the Gryphon, and get my Hex, how do I go about getting it to PHP. Do I just enter it into my profile, or specifically contact them to give them the Hex?

you can use the gryhon but run it on level2 canned tune until your customs come.

K&N is the least aggressive of the CAI kits. You should be able to run the level 2 with no problem or level 3 if you don't beat on it.

Send your HEX Code to hexcodes@phptune.com. This way we can filter them into a separate location. :)

That's a great idea Bill.
The hex codes have there own email address now!
Too cool!

I agree, but now one of the mods needs to update the stickys here and on F150online... :whistle1:

Power Hungry Fri, December 18th, 2009 01:53 PM

I wouldn't worry too much about the stickys. We'll get it on the website and in the manuals and stuff. The worst that happens is they go to Corey anyway and she gets it in her regular e-mail.

If someone wants to change 'em, that's fine. Don't kill yourself to get it done though.

Changed the one in "gryphon programmers" already.

Well I just got my Gryphon today and quickly installed it. I think I can patiently wait on my custom tunes and just leave my truck on 0 (stock). But running level 1 transmission only shouldn't be a problem at all right? Seeing as how it has no engine modifications.?.? While I wait I guess I could try to figure out how to put in my tire size. 35x12.50x18. Anyone have this size and remember the mm value?

Power Hungry Sun, January 3rd, 2010 03:01 PM

Yes, the level 1 should be fine until then.

Tire size should be 2760 mm. That'll get you really close.

Great! Thanks a lot!
