Hey Guys , I am looking for some collective input on mods for my 4.6 , intake to exhaust ,the php tuner is a no brainer , but what has worked for anyone else.

Thanks , KennyD

Aside from the programmer I did the gotts mod with a K&N drop in filter...pretty much a CAI for less than a 10th of the price.:cheesy smile:
I noticed a slight improvement when I installed the K&N filter and then another improvement when I did the gotts.
Can't say on exhaust because I'm still running stock in that area.:twitch:

Gryphon of course. Waiting on my custom tune. I have the K&N intake and I didn't find out about the the Gotts mod until a couple months after I got my intake. I was pissed when I read about the Gotts mod because it is so easy and only a fraction of the cost of an intake. Oh well, I love the sound of it though. I also cut out my muffler and tailpipe and put in a 12" Dynomax Bullet straight through race muffler and 45d it in front of the rear tire. Sounds awesome. Loud, deep and no crackling or popping and I still have stock cats. Muffler was only $40 so that was a cheap upgrade.

The first thing I installed was the Magnaflow SIDO catback system. It made a big difference as the truck felt much more responsive.
The difference in performance was noticeable, but like almost any mod you're likely to do, it's not going to make your truck into a 1/4 mile monster (unless you install a supercharger), but it will gradually improve things as you go.

I also used an AEM CAI, which also works well, and as I am told flows similarly to the K&N unit.

By far, the best mod is the Gryphon Tuner with Bill's programming! :thumbs up yellow:

First thing I did was a Roush Off-Road exhaust and Roush CAI.

Future performance upgrades will be an E-fan kit and 4.10 gears along with the Gryphon.

Eventually, 2/4 lowering and better wheels and tires (stock diameter).
