Long post? Please!

I can't say for sure what tunes are actually on your chip. If you ordered a 120 HP, then that's what you should have gotten.

Your "new" stock isn't as powerful as your "old" stock? Being that you have a 99.5 truck, you likely got PMT1 as your base code. It's nearly impossible to say what the actual power difference is without a dyno or 1/4 mile time slip. My guess is that you are not used to the torque converter clutch apply strategy and might be "fooled", but I have never driven your truck and I may be way off base.

I will give PHP a jingle and see what they actually put on your chip.

well as far as the stock tune goes thats def. posibble with the converter i noticed the diff thats ok tho that tune is just for the moochers in my life that wana barrow my truck (like my brother) lol and yea ill wait to talk to bill and see whats actually in the 6th pos. and if i want to get the 140 tune how much is the diff.? Thanks cleatus and cody for the help and i love the chip im now a PHP fanatic :drool2:

Truthfully, the 140 for stock injectors/HPOP/etc. is really a "fun" tune. I mean "fun" as in really isn't going to get you anywhere near 140 extra horsepower but it will make a lot of excessive smoke.

Personally, save your money.

Agree my 140 Smoke Show is just that, a Fun Tune to play
