DTC codes?

I was working on another issue with my truck the shop I take it to for reading codes and doing the checks picked up some DTC's they came up as soft codes I'm assuming these are some of the ones Bill has turned off, Would they still come up as a soft code?

One was ECM fault P0605, IDM fault and over boost fault. I would have the specifics codes buy my buddy had the code list and lost it somewhere. Sorry for having a question with Halfarse info.

also wondering why my truck only could give IDLE ICP but not what the ICP was calling for and what the truck was actually getting on the computer while increasing the throttle. for some reason he said my computer wasn't programed to give it.

Thanks for any help

The P0605 is because of the chip (normal).

Without actual code numbers for the others I cannot say for sure what caused them.

The other issue I was looking into was a kind of rough idle, #2 injector failed the contribution test. 8 was close to failing but was just under. After asking Jim about it he mentioned the Grey CPS was having issues for quite a few ppl. I looked into it and low and behold there are threads all over the forums about it...... Im just gonna stop doing my own troubleshooting and search forums from now on because EVERY TIME I find the answer on one of the diesel forums I browse... LOL

Ohh, my question for the tuning side of the house, I'm guessing no but, wanted to check is this gonna conflict with my current tunes. I know on my order sheet i put it had a grey one but not sure how how the CPS can affect the tuning?

The blue cps from international retards timing around 2 degrees. The others are suppose to not affect timing at all.

But from what I have seen timing nowadays is pretty conservative, and there is no harm in switching out sensors.
