Are you using pegasus?
Did you click on custom file download?
Set your truck back to stock?

Original gryphon?
CTS Gryphon?
CS Gryphon?

Right -

I've never seen anything like this either for a Gryphon tune using Pegasus.

Let's be sure though, Unleashedford - you DO have a Gryphon and not a CS/CTS, right? I notice you are not showing your hex code in your User Profile. Does Bill have it? (He can't write your tunes without it.)

And finally, how did you get your custom tune file? Normally Corey sends you an email when it is ready and you install it on your Gryphon using Pegasus and [Update]->[Custom File Download]. What you're describing sounds very different than this.

Where do you live?
What country?
If outside the united states then a different approach to loading tunes is needed?

I'm pretty sure that he's got a regular gryphon so it isn't a CS/CTS issue. But I dont recognize this problem.

I do recognize the two formats he is talking about but I dont know what they are for. I think I've seen them while updating the programmer but I dont remember.

just put on my custom tunes but one of the tunes are wrong!!! i put 87 tow, 87 custom performance and 91 custom performance but instead of 91 custom performance i got 91 custom tow!!!! ahhhhh kinda mad!

Jackpine Thu, April 15th, 2010 11:33 PM

Please, don't be mad. If the tune is wrong, Bill WILL fix it. He may have just "mis-labeled" it too. These things can happen.

Please enjoy the tunes you got that were named correctly, and let Bill know that there MAY be a problem with the 91 octane tune. BTW, a 91 octane tow tune will NOT hurt anything. It will just make your truck pull harder at low speeds. You MAY lose some power at high RPMs though.
