FU Chip Availability/Questions..

I had heard alot about a backorder on chips or something to that effect through reading the forums, is this still the case?

I was thinking of ordering the FU setup for my 2002 7.3L F350. Would this be something that would ship right out, or are they still on backorder? If still on backorder, I can wait to order one until it would ship right out.

And yes, I am a fairly new guy. First post here :D Have had my truck for about 2 years now and its got about 115k. Runs like a top, no problems, I would just like some extra RELYABLE power. Been doing some reading about your products and it appears to be the way to go :thumbs up yellow:

My only worry would be, how well the transmission will hold up using the new tunes? I like the way the truck shifts currently, still very smooth but gets the job done. I have the Edge Evo installed on the dash, but since the transmission shifting got VERY harsh with it installed, I now only use it for gauges and pyro.

I guess what Im getting at is Im wondering how much the shift feel changes with these tunes vs. stock. I dont want them so hard/harsh like the Edge was. They were way beyond what Id call safe being a mechanic.

Well when I called last Friday they had chips in stock.

PHP FTW!

Cool, my guess is I will be ordering around 5/10 when they come back from the office move (and pending a few other questions, Im sure, LOL).

Anyone else want to chime in about the tuning/transmission aspect of it?

If you have any issues with shift quality, Bill can tailor it to you liking.:cheesy smile:

Thank you for your help, I just read that orders can be placed on the 6th of May. Is this true?

I might do this instead, waiting doesnt seem like such a good idea :D
