I'll add this: Edge has got to be losing a ton of money by not having a unit that will program the 09+ trucks. You KNOW they want to get this to market.
Consider: Every person that chooses an X3 or a DiabloSport product, as an example, is a LOST customer to them. How many people do you think would actually change over to an Edge product when they actually get it out, if they already have a functioning unit from a different source. A few, maybe, but most would not.
I suspect the pressure on their engineering teams is huge. I can only guess that they're having problems that testing is revealing. It's possible that other companies are having the same problems, and Edge is choosing to try to market a product that works correctly out of the box, rather than trying to sell something and then spend lots of money to fix the problems that didn't show up in poor testing.
