Something to nothing question.
My truck had to go in the shop after a "incident", anyhow it had a new dash fitted and i didn't take my Gryphon out of the truck,no time to.
My question is when they re-connection the Gryphon in the truck and don't follow the start instructions will it cause any problems? Turn key but don't start ect ect instructions. |
Do you mean to reprogram? As long as there wasn't a reprogram gone bad by an irresponsible tech the truck should start with or without the programmer.

As long as they didn't do something like change your stock tune, an incorrect boot (due to the ignition being off or whatever) should not have any unwanted effects.
When you get it home, just tun your key ON and plug the Gryphon in - should boot normally. I've done this a couple of times - had the Gryphon plugged in during a battery disconnect and still plugged in when I reconnected the battery. Didn't boot properly until I unplugged the Gryphon and plugged it back in with the key ON. - Jack |
