Throws a code

Ever since i installed my F.U. Chip its given me a code. It seems like it happens when im cruisin and let off and the rpms drop below 1200. The Codes P1316 "Injector Driver Module Codes Detected". That isn't normal is it?

Sorry bud, that has nothing to do with the chip.

More than likely one of your UVCH came un-clipped.

Do a buzz test to figure out which injector circuit is causing your issue.

Wells its a little wierd. When i first installed the Chip i loosened the wrong bolt to take out the pcm its beside the one that i was sposed to take out its for some Plugs that go into the cab. but anyway i plug them back in and got my chip n and its threw that code. I guess i need to take the chip out and see what it does. But before the chip it didn't give that code. So that's what made me wonder if it was the chip. It seems like it runs right though i mean on the 140HP tune i can get 35-36lbs of boost runs cool to.

I took the chip out so it was back to stock and it didn't throw the code.

Are you sure it is a P1316?

And it doesn't run rough when it pops up?

The preditor programmer "says" its a P1316. And it doesnt run any different when the lights off or on, but it is louder than stock with the chip.

I'm glad to hear we got you fixed up.

One more for the memory banks on what can happen with E99 tunes in a 99.5 PCM.
