The problem you're having is a hardware issue with the burner. We've been in contact with TS about this issue and they are aware of it. As it has been explained to me, the problem is with the close proximity of the power relay to the end of a chip when it is installed in the burner. In some situations, when the chip is installed into the burner it can come in contact with the relay and cause the relay to shift slightly. This ends up lifting one of the feet on the relay and causes the chip to not receive power.

If you are handy with a soldering iron (or know someone who is), there is a very simple repair that will get you up and running in no time. Just follow these instructions:

1) Remove the front panel of the burner.

2) Slide circuit board out the front of the case.

3) Locate the relay and identify the disconnected terminals(s).

4) Reseat the relay and resolder the offending terminals(s).

5) Reinstall the circuit board back into the case making sure the board is in the lowest groove in the case (same as the lowest screw holes). Also make sure to line up the USB connector in the back of the case.

6) Reinstall the front cover.

That should about do it.

If you're not comfortable with performing this operation yourself, please let me know and we'll get you and RMA to send the burner in for repair.

Take care.
