I'z Gotts a question...

I just sent in the order for my new Gryphon CS on Saturday. When I filled out my trucks information on the form I forgot to mention that I have the "Gotts" mod installed, and the fact that it's a 4X4. I tried calling today but got a recording. Is this something I should worry about? They will know it's a 4X4 by the VIN #, but I’m more worried about the Gotts mod. I just want to get the most out of my custom 87 tune. Thanks for the help.

Don't worry about it. the Gott's mod doesn't need custom tunes because you haven't changed the airflow pattern around the MAF at all, just increased the total available airflow to the engine. and the 4x4 issue is the same, it isn't going to change any of the custom tunes.
Glad I could help! :D

Thanks! That's what I figured. It's just when you pay $500.00+ for something, paranoia sets in:matt-roloff: Thanks again.

I was paranoid filling in the info too. I think I probably gave them way more than they could possibly need. Then after recieving the customs I remembered I had wanted to see if Bill could disable the ABS but had forgot to mention it. Such is life with an excessively faulty memory. You'll be happy with the results when all is done though. Everything about the way the truck performs is better now.

I don't think that the abs can be disabled with a programmer....that's part of the body controllers functions and not the pcm......
