Help! Think pcm is junk

im new to the powerstroke world. although i am a mechanic i still think i messed up my truck. i just prchased the chip from php and was installing it it didnt work twice i kept cleaning and cleaning and now i have no wait to start even with out the chip. fuses look good but which ones would be the exact calprit. i guess i should have unhooked the batteries too. any help is appreciated.

Try disconnecting the battery's for about 10 minutes, and see what that does.....its worth a shot.

Also check the 30 amp fuse in the lower right side of the fuse panel inside the truck.

napa has a reman pcm does it need to be flashed or does the chip overide it?

As long as it is the same processor (DPC#) the chip will override to whatever calibration is on the chip.

ok the pcm must be flashed because it runs. put the chip in and the wait to start and water in fuel light stays on so i guess i messed up the chip. so how much is it gonna cost me? the same 250 for a chip or the full price again?
