When should the truck be set back to stock?

Should i set the truck back to stock when i'm simply disconnecting battery? What conditions are necessary for the tune be set back to stock?

The only reason to set it back to stock is either 1) you're selling the truck without the tuner or 2) you're talking it to the dealer and don't want the dealer to know you've tuned the truck (even if you do set back to stock, if he wants to investigate, he wil be able to determine it was recently flashed).

Shotgun's correct. There's no reason to set your truck back to stock unless you want to drive a truck that's "badly tuned". :hehe:

Seriously though, read through this Q & A: http://forum.gopowerhungry.com/faqs-...ions-menu.html

Near the bottom you will find the reasons for setting the truck back to the stock tune.

You might also look at this post: http://forum.gopowerhungry.com/faqs-...ions-test.html which tells you why you should not set the tune to stock prior to an emissions test.
