Phoenix installed, initial impressions

First post, thought I'd introduce myself here and give some initial impressions.

While at home on lunch break the letter carrier knocked on the door to have me sign for the PHP chip! Of course it got installed immediately.

This afternoon I had to go pick up some stuff for work so I got to try out the tunes.

This chip replaced my DP tuner F5 which I've had for 2.5 years. Was thinking of getting that reburned to correct some things I didn't like about the tunes and to add some tunes but decided I wanted to try out a different tuner and migrate to the more flexible TS chip.

The 80DD is what I would have liked the DP 80E to be. The pedal sensitivity is more to my liking, shift points are good and the shifting is smoother, particularly the TC lockup.

My right foot is conditioned for light-footing the 80E but that will not take long at all to unlearn.

TC lockup on light tow is much like the DP 80E but this makes sense since it is a tow tune.

Didn't try the heavy tow.

100P is a nice bump in performance feel, I foresee switching between 100P and 80DD a good bit to figure out which I like better for various driving regimes.

Initial impressions are very positive- thanks y'all.

That's what we like to hear.

Thank you for taking the time to write down your impressions!

:howdy: Although I peruse many different forums, not a member on all, I enjoy seeing varying input on different products and knowledge. Personally enjoy PHP for the tuning forum as I have been considering Minotaur for a while after Curtis started using it, I like the idea, as my job is programming PLC logic controllers and such, seems like fun.
