However, between Lars and Corey, you got your answer and looks like you had an uneventful trip!
Possibly, your trailer, when loaded, might be something like mine. About 3600# or 1.6 MT, in which case a custom tow tune would work better for you than the "canned" one, which was designed for towing weights in the 5000#+ category. You wouldn't need quite the low end torque that the canned tune gives and you'd probably get better fuel economy with a custom tow tune.
