It doesn't make sense to me that Bill would tell you to keep the tranny only tune and use it for towing. He might chime in here though and tell me I'm all wrong (won't be the first time)!

I'd replace the Level 1 tranny only tune with a custom 87 octane tune for the kind of driving you normally do. Is it city, highway or a combination? I'd guess you want good passing performance along with the reasonable mileage.

I'd keep the Canned tow tune in case you ever DO tow anything in the 2000#+ range and I'd keep the canned 93 octane tune. Sounds like you'll never use that one, just like me.

Since the tranny tune does nothing to your engine, I'd replace it.
