The chip has the capability of being programmed with up to 6 different "tunes". You "burn" the chip with your computer and then install the chip into the truck. You can switch between any of the 6 programs that you burned onto the chip at any time while driving.
You can remove the chip from the truck and program the chip with up to 6 different tunes whenever you want then reinstall the chip in the truck and choose from any of the tunes you just burned to the chip.
You can buy an a-pillar gauge pod and mount whatever "flavor" of gauge you like.
