Jack,

I have always turned everything off. I shut the doors, and program everything without even leaving the truck. I didn't change anything. I went straight down and hit the load previous settings. In the past i have tried just making simple changes. I would just load a tire change and it will give me wierd outcomes. I owuld leave all the shift points and timing untouched but yet it will always give me a rough idle.

I have only done hte Previous options thing once. Every other time I try to do a custom tune. I have yet not been able to make any changes to a tune.

Period.

This is what i have tried in the past from day one with gryphon. Every tune.

1.) Loaded 91 performance....

Wouldn't run. Would start and then just die....

2.) Loaded Tow tune with timing advanced 2.0.

Ran but was rough.

Had to get home so i tried a tune without changing things.

3.) Loaded stock tow tune.

Worked great. Was better then changed Canned tune on edge.

I then ran this for about a week.

4.) Tried tow tune with just the tire change.

Read in manual to cross referance size. I put it in. Hit done. Rough idle.

5.) Went back to tow tune.

Ran 87 tow tune on 91 gas for 2 months.

Decided to have some fun and try the 91 tune again.

Loaded and started. Ran great. Did my runs.

Went back to tow tune.

6.) Loaded tow tune.

ONLY change was advancing the timing +2.0 for 91 octane fuel.

Rough idle.

Went back to canned 87 tow tune.

Thats where i am now.

Sorry if it is so long. But that is a step by step of the last 2.5 months since i have had my gryphon.

I had my edge for 3 years and never once had a problem programming it. The steps are the same for the gryphon, so i would assume we could rule that out.

I will try to change the click rate and see if that helps. I hope it does.

Thanks
Nate
