Has anybody installed a dash pod in a 2009 or 2010 F150? I ordered one with my CTS and it appears to be too wide to fit between the dash and A pillar on my 2009 Platinum.

I don't beleive they make a dash pod for the 2009 + fords yet.
EDIT - I stand corrected. They apparently do make em. They have them listed on their site. No pic/s though. |

Corey, Thanks for the response.
Here are a few shots of my dash and the programmer. As you can see my dash area is about 5 1/4" wide and the pod I have is 5 3/4" - 6" wide. I cannot get the pod to slide back flush with the leading edge of the dash and still fit between the A Pillar & the dash. ![]() I suspect there may be a difference in the "A" Pillar covers on the different F150's. My truck is a Platinum edition which has the factory Navigation/Sony Sound system in it and as such has tweeters mounted in the A Pillars. Dash opening = 5 1/4" ![]() Pod width = ~6" ![]() Here is an additional shot of the programmer mounted in the area using the suction cup mount and angled slightly to ease the viewing of the screen. ![]() |
