Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default 140 Horse Tune Questions

Hey this is my first post i was originally going to go with a DP Tuner but have decided that i like PHP a whole lot more. my main question is how much smoke am i going to get out of the 140 hp tune. i drive a 99 F250 with Forged rods a 4 inch turbo back straight pipe exhaust and boost and egt gauges. i want a decent amount of smoke since i am just using this tune to show off. also is smoke show a tune that you can drive in for a short distance or is it just for idle. any help would be appreciated.

You'll get enough smoke to really get the green peace eco-nazi terrorists fired up and ready to pass more EPA legislation, that's for sure.

Smoke show can be used all the time. I haven't been able to test it out (hello, hello, is this thing on? ) but I would ASSUME it to be a roughly 100 HP tune with low boost fueling changes. All other driving conditions would warrant a "normal" 100 or so horsepower tune.

I post a lot here since I'm a "moderator" but I also have a lot of knowledge of 7.3L Powerstroke operation/theory.

How do I know Bill?

I don't. I've talked to him a few times on the phone, a few times via e-mail, and I bought a lot of stuff from him.

Maybe Bill and Cody at multiple personalities of the same person Heh I have the 140 and my smoke show is also built (by Bill) off of the 140 with 95% low boost fueling across the board... you will get plenty of smoke if you get on the throttle at 100 hp and up.... I do even with my free flowing exhaust mods.... the smoke show really just gives you more smoke at low boost and light throttle compared to the others

The wife says "If he finds us a house with enough acreage for the livestock and it's in a decent location........and he pays for it, then we'll do it."

I really don't think that I could be much help anyway.

It's nice to know that you would offer, though.
