Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default What calibrations to get?

OK so I have finally finished buying the final part for my engine.
I have a 1995 302 5.0. My mods are as follows:

GT40 cast iron heads with FMS 1.7 rockers.
Edelbrock 3841 truck manifold w/ plenum
BBK 3501 twin 56mm throttle body
K&N cold air intake
Under drive pulleys
Dual electric fans w/ aluminum shroud
Aluminum radiator
Aeromotive 13102 fuel pressure regulator
stock injectors (19lbs I believe) and MAF meter
Bassani headers and exhaust system (no cat)

Smog pump removed as well. (shorter belt)

Most parts are installed and the rest will be installed within
the next 8 days as soon as the mechanic has space.

I am redoing my rear now.

Just bought the trac loc for my rear and am
upgrading my gears from 3.31 to 4.10.

Any brand gear I should look into? I was gonna go with FMS.

Ive got 22" rims with low profile tires and no lift.
I would like to lift it but not right now. My last bit of money
is going to pay the mechanic and then get the Pheonix.

So Iwas thinking of just going with the 3 calibration.

One would be stock - would that simulate factory stock?
two would be a good local and highway driver
three would be burn rubber and kill ricers!

Does anyone have the Pheonix in a 1995 f150?
If so how do you like it so far?
Also would three calibrations be enough?
Do I need to dyno my truck first?
What calibrations do you recommend if any?
I really like the
279.00 price! Or I would just go all out! I dont fish or tow.
I live in NYC/North NJ and dont drive the truck much.
I just made it to 65k miles and it is a 1995.

Any info from anyone is greatly appreciated.
Its time to buy my Pheonix!

Sweet look'n ride!

Another question.
What octane you looking at running?

You could go:
1. Stock or anti theft
2. 87 perf
3. 93 perf

Thanks for the complement!

Hey lars, last batch of premium Sunoco gas I used I believe 93 octane was giving my truck trouble starting.
I used all the gas till I hit empty and then refilled with regular and the truck started right up and ran fine. I never really noticed a difference between regular and a higher octane. Regularly I use the 91 octane though.

Now what is the difference between stock and anti theft?
I have a kill switch already through my ignition system.
Would stock duplicate a factory feel?

So 87 perf. would be based on regular gas...
I get it now, so those are basically the tunes I can get.
