Default 5.4 Exhaust manifold leak common?

I've got an exhaust leak coming from the right on my '06 5.4. Common problem for these trucks? Hard to fix?

Look it over real carefully.
Make sure its not cracked.
If its cracked you're looking at getting a new one. It could also be the donut gasket where the header joins up with the exhaust pipe flange.
Those are not the easiest bolts to get out either.
Of course it may just need a new gasket but look it over really good.
Peace!

When I traded in my 2001, they told me afterwards when I was asking about it that it also had an exhaust leak from the manifold, they also mentioned that it had to do with bent bolts or something in that area. Those are the only 2 times I have heard of an exhaust leak from the manifold.

I traded my '04 Screw in for my '07 Expedition with a passenger side exhaust manifold leak. The guy that drove my truck before trade in said, "it looks like you got the common manifold leak" I said yup and I don't want to fix it. He said "I don't blame ya, we've seen tons of these and most are very ugly."
