Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default Weird shifting

If you stand on it itll kind of shift up then back down real fast and it lurches real bad. I hate how it barks the tires on the shifts anyone who rides with me thinks my trans is going out. It does that in 80DD and 100 perf when your get over about 2300 RPMs. I want smooth shifts. In 100 perf. it will take off thru 1st and 2nd like there is no chip then it hits 3rd and I'm gone. Is there any tune that will give me power in 1st and 2nd? I almost got beat by a stock 6.0 until I hit 3rd. 100 is my highest tune. I dont really use 80DD or my low idle so I have 2 spaces I would be able to use.

Are you sure your transmission doesn't have some sort of "shift kit" or valve body work done to it? I looked over your previous posts and see that you mentioned something about an aftermarket torque converter. I doubt the previous owner stopped there. The transmission should not shift that hard unless something's been done to it.

As for the lack of power (or perceived power) in 1st and 2nd, it can be attributed to a few possible things such as boost leaks, drive pressure leaks, etc. but most likely you're just noticing how much difference there is between when the torque converter clutch is applied and when it's not. Without actually driving the truck, it's anyone's guess as to what it could be.

What is the name of the person from whom you purchased the chip?

I dont have the guys name, I wish I did. Maybe I can look thru some stuff and find it. I am pretty sure the truck only has the torque converter and I dont know what kind it is.
