Default quick question

so i got my gryphon today and i filled up my truck 91 octane, the canned tunes come 87 tranny, 87 tow, and 93. people say the 87 is just like the 89..

so my question is can i run with 91 octane with the 93 option? they dont sell 93 octane where i live...please let me know thanks

Its been posted before somwhere but as long as we are talking about the canned tunes the "93" really means 91+ . So you will be fine.

THATS FREAKEN AWSOME!!! THANKS GUYS!!! and i had less then a 1/4 tank of 87 and i just filled it up with 91, is it okay if i run 93 even though it had a little 87 in it?

You probably can, but you may need to retard the spark some (I'd guess maybe 1.0 degrees) because you're probably burning a mix that's actually 90 octane. However, it probably won't matter much. If the knock sensors detect "ping", the spark will be automatically retarded - a lot, and that will prevent damage. But retarding the spark could actually give you better performance right now.

thanks, i tired putting it on 93 performance this morning and it was good, until the electronic throttle control light came on, then i put it back on 87 performance and it went away then i put it back on 93 and no light yet

Please update your user cp with your hex and serial number.

Is it cold where you live?

The other thing is it may be time to clean the TB and MAF sensor also.

and when i drive its usually 60-80 degree's outside
