1 Barrel, 2, or 4, take your pick.
1950 Ford F-1 Flathead 6 Cylinder. Fresh out of a field. 1977 CJ7 256 I6, Low oil pressure (read 5lbs at 2000 rpm) New motor for the CJ7, 350 Chevy slightly built... enough to pick the front tires off the ground in 2nd. or you can look at more pictures of both vehicles here: 1977 jeep CJ7 1950 Ford F-1 Someone said they wanted some carbs to look at... I am still waiting on the custom tunes for these. Last edited by Big Bird; Wed, December 16th, 2009 at 02:52 PM. |

I thought I recognized a CJ I6. Good motor IMO. I bet a 2 barrel would be good enough. Now I can't remember what we have on ours. A friend of mine has an old ford F150 with the 352 and it came with a 2 barrel. But I think he upgraded to a 4 barrel, it was also a bigger motor. So I would go with the one that has the most bang for the buck.

well scratch the 4 barrel off of the list. Still have the jeep and the motor, just pulled the 4 barrel off to throw on a 1 barrel for s and g's... thing runs just fine. never mind the fact that it is a predator carb that I am scared to death to put my hand over...
