Default Dual mufflers w/o customs

I have a 2005 F150 FX4 5.4L with a K&N air intake (I know about the lean issue ). I am ordering my Gryphon right now and will be getting the custom tunes once I get my HEX.
I also want to get my exhaust redone and will be getting true duals, either bullets or Magnapacks. Would it be ok to have them installed before my tunes are ready or should I wait until after I get the tunes?
Also on the Gryphon order form should I put my current exhaust setup or the future setup?

honestly if you have the money just wait till you do the exhuast then the custom tunes but the only thing i am concerned about is the lean issue with the intake so you might have to put the stock intake on until you get the custom tunes

or you can just order the gryphon and do the custom mod later for the exhaust

well thats my opinion unless im wrong

Go ahead put the new exhaust on the order form so that the tunes get written for it. You dont really have to take the CAI off but when you do get the programmer(just a few business days) go the level 2 tow program. That program is set up to run a little on the rich side on a stock vehicle.

Ok thanks guys. Just sent in my order.

I would have ordered it sooner, but I spent my money on wheel and tires :p. Haven't had any codes yet with the CAI so I hope nothing too bad has happened.

But make sure you put down truduals on your order sheet.

I see you are aware of the possible lean issue.
Run it on level 2 canned tow but don't rod the piss out of it.
You can do that after your custom tunes are done.

Good choice on the mufflers!

I would go ahead and get the exhaust done. As long as you don't mess with the O2's or remove the cats, then you're good.

On a side note, high flow cats with Magnapacks sound down right godly!

Your truck is what made me want the Magnapacks . I would love to get some high flows, but I live in CA.
Same Yogi from f150online btw

Gryphon should be here early next week too!
