ECM/TCM rollback confusion....
Ok so I'm on the list for a remote programmer. I placed an order to have my ficm reprogramed and my ECM/TCM rolled back. Here are my current strategies VXCF9N4 TQCI1NA. According to the PHP website this is one of the strategies that need to be rolled back. So here's where I get confused I plan on running custom tunes and two different tuners that I talked to said that they would wright my tunes off of fords most recent strategy. They then told me that I have the most recent strategy and that it is Fords best to date. So could someone please shed a little light on this for me.

Its really the preference of your tuner of choice. If you buy your tunes from someone who says they like VXCF9, then don't roll back. Bill prefers VXCF4 and that what he rolls most back to. Most tuners can't roll customers back and they have to work with the VXCF9, Bill doesnt. As it states on this website, VXCF9 isnt one of the better files. However, that doesnt mean you wont be happy with your tunes based on that file from your custom tuner.
The ficm program, wont effect your custom tunes so your ok there. I hope that helps.
