Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default Phoenix Chip Ordering Question

I tried for several days over the past week or so to get in touch with someone on the phone to place an order but was unable to get through. I know about the health concerns and how busy things are so I went ahead and did the online ordering method through the ordering tab at the top of the website earlier this week. My question is, is there supposed to be a confirmation of the order? I just am wanting to make sure that the order was placed and not lost in cyberspace I was also just wanting to get a rough estimate on the turnaround time between ordering and shipping.

I do want to stress that I know of the obstacles that PHP has been facing and I know things are a bit delayed, I just want to make sure I have an idea when things should happen so I can go on about other projects and not worry about this order until closer to when things should arrive.

Thanks,
Chris

The chip showed up today. I installed it after work and took the truck for a spin around for a while. Honestly I didn't try anything other than the 80DD and 100Perf tunes Very, very nice! Has the same low end grunt as the previous Superchips programmer, but it is a ton stronger on the top end. The 80DD tune maxed out the EGT's at around 1150 and 23# of boost. The 100Perf tune went to 1300 EGT and I let out of it (same 23# boost). This was unloaded obviously. I sold my trailer last week so it might be a while till I can get hitched up to something to test the truck out under load.

The one question/concern I had was on the whisper mode. Is it supposed to be a big reduction in noise? It helps a bit, but its still too noisy for a drive through IMO. I am just wondering if I was expecting too much.

Thanks,
Chris

Your EGT's for the tunes sound a lil high to me, and your boost is a little low I'm going to say you have a boost leak for sure. Check your uppipes for soot and check your IC boots(if you have the original crankcase vent into them, that may well be your problem, they get soaked with oil and leak!) I can barely nail 1200* in the 120 race tune.. Glad you're enjoying.
