TEJ hex code
I just got my CS and pulled my hex. Was tooling around the site and I found this post in a sticky.
Ah, the famous TEJ hex code again, I completely overlooked that in the original post! Since the components in the transmissions don't change (at least not much), in a model year, I wonder why there is a need for all the various "strategies"? It simply doesn't make any sense to me. - Jack I have a TEJ hex code. Is this something I should be concerned about? Thanks Jon |

That was my prefix in my 06 hex and i never had any issues with the tranny.....a little hiccup with the a custom tune but that was easily fixed.....
The rxdg was a bigger pia for Bill

Thanks for the feedback. Is it normal to be in 4rd or 4th gear at 30mph prior to tuning?

Pretty much the way ford designed it....it will be 40-45mph after tuning...
