Check the battery and its connections. Also could be related to the pcm being reflashed.

That's the "drive cycle not complete" code. Usually, it shows up after returning to stock or disconnecting the battery. There IS a way to reset it (very complicated) and it's in the FAQs on PHPs website, but it should go away by itself after you drive the truck a few times.

You also might be able to clear it now using the Gryphon. It's in one of the menus, I think under Diagnostics.

This is a normal diagnostic code that will be present immediately a reprogramming session. P1000 doesn't clear when clearing DTCs and in fact, the act of clearing the DTCs can often cause the P1000 to come on again.

This code should go away by itself within 50 miles of normal driving. If for some reason it doesn't, it is possible there may be a calibration issue that is preventing the I/M status of certain emissions controls to clear.

If there continues to be a problem, let me know and we'll see what we need to do to help make it go away.

Take care.

Boy, good to have you back in the conversation loop Bill!

Seems like I keep learning new things. I would not have guessed that clearing DTCs would set the P1000 code, nor did I know you couldn't clear it.

Another bit of information to add to my "troubleshooting file". It's getting pretty long now.

Reprogramming the PCM will automatically clear any codes in the PCM. That's probably what happened.

Glad to hear it's cleared up.
