Default Economy tune??

I have read a few different places now about ordering an "economy tune"?

1. Is there a such thing?

If yes...

2. How badly is performance sacrificed?
3. What changes are made to improve mileage and how much of a gain is typical?
4. Recommended?

Thanks guys! I want to know before I send my hex code in (Gryphon delivered tomorrow )!

I wouldn't bother with an economy tune to be honest. I'd just get a tow and performance tune.

I've read that one of the main differences between the economy and performance tunes are in the shifting strategies. Other than that I think they are pretty close. But the biggest part of fuel economy is connected to your leg and you put shoes on it.

Your right. It shifts differently. I believe Bill said there really isn't much different with MPG between the 2.
