Default Looking for a supercharger

Was wondering if I would need anything extra done to my engine to handle it.
Or if I needed an intercooler and what not.

What are some superchargers?
I've just been using keyword f150 to search for them, but I am not sure if it can be just any supercharger, and I would have to get a seperate bracket for it or what. So if you could shed your knowledge on me, would be awesome.

Also was curious if I would need to get it dyno tuned, or if I can get another custom tune for my Gryphon.

I'm not very knowlegable on the topic but I'd expect you might need an injector upgrade. You would also need to get a dyno tune using a wideband O2 sensor to keep your A/F ratio correct. These are just two things that come to mind right now, hopefully some one else will chime in for the things I missed.

I have done a few Roush supercharger kits on the 5.4's. The kits are extremely nice and come with very detailed instructions. There was not a single piece in the kit that had to be modified and the fitment was perfect.

You do not need to change injectors, actually the only thing that needed to be done was to have the PCM re-flashed (which is included in the kit, box and shipping included), and different spark plugs installed (also included). Otherwise the kits can easily be installed in a day.

The kits I have done were non-intercooled, and were advertised as a 100 hp gain.

Gotta love the sound too.

Roush for instant low end power, Procharger for top end power.

The Fords have no top end power at all, so I might go with the Procharger.

Dont take my word on this, but i asked a mechanic once, and he said the prochargers arent the best for our engines, didnt give any real reasons except that they didnt work right... just food for thought.
I have looked into them as well, and a Roush is a good one, I havent done one yet because of the $$ involved... so if anyone feels like donating... haha yeah didnt think so

Well after furthur research, it seems that the majority of people love the Whipple 2.3 Twin Screw.
It supposidly puts out the most power and has a sweet updated design.
It is also a little bit cheaper, selling on ebay for roughly 3500 bucks =)

Yea, I get most of my parts from ebay. Love it. So much cheaper than retail.
