Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default Couple of questions....

Hello,

I recently purchased a 2001 F250 7.3L Powerstroke that was bone stock. I'm sure that many others on this forum can't have a stock "plain jane" vehicle like myself . So because of this I have been looking at mods and reading which are the most beneficial. Of course, I quickly found out that a chip was the best bang for the buck. I plan on going with PHP due to all the good reviews I have found and positive feedback I've seen from customers.

I don't plan on more than some mild mods (intake, exhaust, gauges, chip, etc.). I have already gotten an intake, and was planning on the chip next. The question I have though is, should I get the gauges (mainly the pyrometer)before the Phoenix chip? Because from reading, I see that high EGT's are bad and I can't imagine the restrictive stock exhaust can be great at keeping them down.

So would it be ok to get the chip first, and then a couple months down the road get the gauges and exhaust? Just figured I'd ask some people with more experience with PSDs than myself!

Thanks!
