That's actually an interesting idea. The display could technically support 4 digits (consider RPM) and since the 4th digit would never be wider than a "1" then the colon should fit too.
The problem is this... I am not certain just how accurate the timer is in the processor, at least over LONG periods of time. I'd be afraid that when the unit goes to sleep during key off, it might upset the accuracy. I will put it on the list and if it's possible, I'd be happy to add it.
