Default Exhaust cutouts?

I did a search to see if any one had brought them up. Has any one tried putting electronic cutouts before the cats, plugging up your O2 sensor hole, putting your O2 sensors before the cut outs and then tuning?

Probably would be horrible for noise on the street and get you tickets in CA but for off road when with noise canceling head sets on...

Let me know if some one knows any thing on the subject. Also, maybe wide band O2s?

ALSO: this would be behind a supercharger.

Thanks!

Interesting. Thank you. Now how do you tune for that? Kinda seems like a mod for the untuned? Yeah? no?

It's for the rears only and can be done with or without tune.
Preferably if you are going to go catless you shoud tell the tuner.

Yeah, I will end up doing that for sure. I have tried calling PHP 300x and sent an email last night. My engine goes in this weekend so if I can't get a hold of them soon I am going to have to get tuning done some where else I know they have been crazy busy with unexpected issues so I am holding out as long as I can!

Unexpected issues led to being closed this week(out of office) and then next week is manditory monthly phone closure week.
So I don't know what your turn around time needs to be?
Try to fax them? And see what kinda response you'll get?
If you are really in need of expidited tuning you can try VMP Tuning Inc. Justin uses SCT products like the Xcal3.
I don't want PHP to lose a customer but if you need tunes that fast that's who I'd recomend.

Yeah, VMP and Troyer both only do the SCT tuners. I am going to try and hold out as long as I can. I told her in the email that I really like that they are a family based company. My family as well as my self both own our own businesses so I know how speed bumps in life can play a tole on the business. A few years back my little sister was had to have 2 unexpected brain surgeries. You can only imagine what that did to there business. I haven't driven the truck in 3 months so whats a couple more weeks right?

I am stuck on this again.. I am trying to figure out how to design the new exhaust so that I can have a tune with cats for on the road and a tune with out cats for off road.

My problem is where do I put the O2 sensors and do I do any thing to them?

It seems that if I have the cut outs before the cats that I should have the O2 sensors before them both right? If so, do I do that O2 sensor modification in the thread posted ^?
