I thought I had heard of someones acting similar before but could not find the post. Maybe it was the torque converter "shuttering" that I am thinking of. I am not sure if it is the same thing or not. It really feels like a coil pack is unplugged. I have tried to contact PHP by phone several times regarding the issue but have not had any luck. Hopefully Bill will see this post.... Bill??

There have been some cases of part throttle suddering of the torque convertor engaugement while going back up a hill after coming down from one.
Mine was from using coast button on the cruise control.
How many miles on the truck?

69,xxx

It seems like it may always start with a coast and part throttle type driving. It did it again today and I let off the gas and got back in it and it went away. I was kind of excluding the torque converter as before even making it downshift would not make it go away. Only turning the truck on and then back off would.

Keep the ideas coming..... Can a mod point Bill to this thread?

Try and call them and not just once or twice. Try a lot.
Or fax them a note.

Does your truck throw any codes when this happens? How about fuel quality? Is it possible you have bad fuel, water in it, bad fuel filter? If it were me, I would add some water remover, premium fuel, new filter, and octane booster. Why? Cuz this could very well fix your problem and even if it doesn't it still will be good for your truck. A very cost effective fix or atleast a beneficial way to rule out a problem. Hope this helps.......
