The sensor socket removal tool is to remove the O2 sensers because they have a wire on them the socket is notched to accomadate the wire.
Its not for testing. You should be able to pick one up from any autoparts store and yes there are different sizes. So ask the parts counter dude which one is right for your vehicle application. Peace!
