I got the same issue. i am going to send my pcm in eventually and get it re flashed
 to run single shot injectors with a stock (low smoke) program so if I need to get inspected it will look and run completely stockI hate smog in cali money hungry people.

When you mention the P1000 code do you mean that the 7.3's don't throw them often or not at all? Because my truck throws the P1000 all the time.
