But, you seem to be saying here, Bill, that Custom Options are going to pull the stock shift points up in his Gryphon which would then replace the ones in his tunes if he did not change them? I keep learning things about the Custom Options that I don't like! - Jack |

Ahh okay, then that brings up one question. Does the fuel mapping and timing stay the same for my custom tunes when i customize it farther myself? Shift points/firmness/ tire size/ timing advance?
Thanks Bill |

Jack,
This was a common complaint with the early hardware Evolutions. The later hardware (new processor & updated firmware) only exhibit this issue if you do not proceed through an initial programming session first. In such a case, it uses an arbitrary value instead of values from the tuned calibration itself. Kyle, Anything you do not change stays the same. Also, since most options are adders, it will simply add a value to the modified calibrations. The only time there is confusion is when changing a specific value such as WOT shifts, Tire Size, or Gear Ratio. These values may not directly reflect what is in the custom file but may instead use an arbitrary value. I hope this makes sense. ![]()
