Yup, pretty crappy.
Put new rockers on this morning and put her ALL back together and it would not restart, could not build any ICP. Ended up tracing it down to a HPO leak on the passenger side, and guess what.................#1 strikes again. The injector was leaking oil right past the poppet somehow, tore injector down and did a visual and found nothing real obvious, so I put it back together and stuck it and and leak was gone, WTF. ![]() Anyways it is running again and I will be spending the rest of the day tomorrow putting her back together. Man between this and the race car I have spent the last few weeks at the shop until midnight about every night................... the old lady is about to disown me. |

You don't need this, man!!!
At least it looks to me like you got all of the pieces from your rocker pedestal explosion. That rocker setup is a joke on these things, especially since it's almost mandatory to put stiffer springs in them to keep the valves closed at high RPM.

I think I am retired from drag racing for awhile till I get this issue (valve) sorted out, still had a good time though! |
