What was the part number from Summit? I'm thinking of keeping a set or two in stock for customers.

Make sure You check the application on the bottom of the Summit description. I don't think they have any that will work on the '04-'08 5.4l F-150. I looked into this before, Thats why I own the Troyers.

Good thing I don't have 5.4L
![]() But there's no good news either they sold me the wrong kit anyway. So, I gotta put the whole damn thing back together with the factory pulleys and send this one back so they'll send me a good one back. ![]() Still want that part number Bill?

I've read some stuff about underdrive pulleys not turning your alternator enough. Would anyone suggest bumping up my idle on the Gryphon?

That's the usual procedure, since underdrive pulleys turn things more slowly. But, unless you do a lot of idling with a heavy electrical load, you may not have to change the idle speed. I imagine, with a Gryphon, you could simply monitor your charging voltage to see if there's really any reason to adjust the idle.
It might really be needed if you coupled the pulleys with e-fans, since they add to your electrical load. - Jack

Here is some UD pulleys that I found. I'm not sure how good they are but they're cheap.

Also found these but let me know what you decide or if anyone knows more than I do....let me rephrase since everyone knows more about these than I do. I know they all reduce drag on the serpentine belt but I have no idea which ones are better. heres this:

That's interesting that they are listed for '97 to '06 when most other pulleys stop at '03.
Maybe they are the same. ![]() I think I'll wait for someone else to give 'em a spin before I throw a set on the Expy.
