You just need doughnuts to do the job, also you might want to grab a set of turbo o-rings. Removing the turbo is not a requirement, but can really save you some grief.
Have patience, sometimes the up pipe bolts can seize up....so take your time and use plenty PB Blaster. Be sure to use anti-seize on everything when you re assemble, it will make life much easier next time you have to tear into it. Good Luck! |

Thanks 907Dave. I bought new donuts and up-pipes from Ford. I'm going to start soaking the bolts in Aero-Kroil and swap it out week after next. That way I'll be back home in Alabama and my dad has a machine mill and drill press if I break a bolt off in the y-collector. And we have a Ford diesel tech 5 miles down the road...just in case.
