Yes you can always send it back in to have tunes changed. However it will cost $25 per changed tune.
If you think you might want to play with different tunes I would suggest getting the FU chip. The fu is the same physical chip but you have access to all of the tunes for your truck. You burn what you want, when you want. Later down the rd you can get custom tunes if you ever decide to upgrade injectors, etc.
With the fu, the additional cost is just the cost for the burner/software.
Just something to think about. I have the fu, no downtime or need to be without tunes. You can then play with the different tunes and decide for yourself what you want. This way there are no mistakes on choosing tunes.
