You can certainly use an SCT programmer on your truck, but I don't know if Bill is interested in tuning gas engines anymore. Ask him.

Actually, we still do gas tuning with SCT, but the people who are REALLY good with the EcoBoost tuning is Gearhead Tuning. Matt Robinson is a brilliant guy and Gearhead is actually one of our warehouses. Give them a shout and speak to Larz. He handles the ordering and stuff.

I hope this is helpful.

Thanks guys, good seeing all of you again!

I don't expect to tune the truck anytime soon, prioritizing getting out of debt first and a few hundred on custom tunes plus a tuner doesn't make sense. Maybe after #2 is born. Thinking more power won't convince the wife otherwise, mileage might but we put less than 5000 miles on the truck a year so it won't save $4-800 for a long time lol. We would likely sell it before it's paid for itself and get a horse hauling truck. Dani wants horses someday, and doesn't want to sell this truck unless we upgrade to a superduty that can haul a 4 horse trailer or bigger... who knows when that will be though haha.

Yes - You WILL need a Superduty to haul a 4-horse trailer! That's what my sister has - an F250. Those critters are expensive pets, too!

Grin New update...

Looks like the forum still isn't what it used to be... Maybe I should visit more often?

New updates, I separated from Active Duty in the USAF almost 3 years ago, and since then I have been flying for Delta Air Lines. I fly the A350 and I am based in Atlanta so we moved up to Locust Grove.

I did live in my RV for 2 years, I started pulling it with a 2016 F-350 DRW but now pull it with a 2024 F-350 DRW. Over the 2 years we traveled from Florida visiting as far as Tacoma Washington before settling down here in Georgia.

I still just have 2 kids, 1 wife, and the other car is a Ford Explorer. Once I finish my basement I want to build a kit car, specifically a Factory Five Racing Roadster... aka shelby cobra kit car. Like always, the only problem with that is money .

I know Bill is nearby up north somewhere, so some day when I have a few hours I might just have to stop by and say Hi and introduce the new family. You met my crazy ex wife in colorado in 2011, but she's long gone so no worries on that front .

That's it for now I think, Ill post again if I remember anything else to say.
