I highly recommend going with a full synthetic engine oil like Rotella 5w40 synthetic... its available for $19.50 a gallon at Wally mart and they also sell the Motorcraft FL1995 filter for $10. If you are in a cold environment the syn oil will make a big difference in cold starting and warm up

Mostly glow plug control. CA trucks had an actual module that controls and monitors each glow plug whereas 49 state trucks have a simple relay that just turns them all on and off.

The thing that gets me is the XC3F-BA.
According to Bill's literature, there is no suffix of "BA" for the prefix of "XC3F". Just "BB-BG" which translate into NVK0-NVK5.

Well the scanner did not work. It would link and when you go to vehicle info it says this is not supported. it says no codes stored and like2 monitors were working. When i pulled the carfax the the truck was a program car.
