Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled) Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip. Because of limitations in the TS chips, we have to disable PATS in the Excursion. In order to prevent the theft light from blinking, disconnect the plug from the PATS module. The module is located below the dash, just to the right of the accelerator pedal and should have a red plug on the bottom of it. Just disconnect and the light goes out.
Yes, a standard key will work now.

I just got through towing my 9000 Lb travel trailer a couple hundred miles. The heavy tow setting is perfect. I got better mpg than expected as well (10-12mpg depending on the wind).
I do have one issue though. My wife does not like the shifts in the 80DD program at all. I also think they are a bit harsh. Is there anything that can be done about that? Thanks! |
