Those are sweet....exactly the one's I have wanted for my CC.
Tire's are pricey though. |

Nah, since it's not a winter truck I can get away with cheap summer-tread tires. $155 each isn't bad at all.

Dyno runs done.....
Stock with stock tuning: 202 HP and 422 ft. lbs. Stage 2's and a VERY weak HPOP (2000 PSI ) 385 HP and 859 ft. lbs. Now I have to spend more money to get my high pressure oil up to 3000 PSI under load. I should hit 400 HP pretty easily with that .

Well Cody it ought to be a little more FUN to drive now. Who did you get the injectors from?

Full Force.
I've just spent a bit of time making a 183 HP over-stock daily driver program......and that's where the truck is "done". I will never use what I have now. The 385 HP number also was made sans ANY start of injection (SOI) timing changes from a stock single-shot truck. When it's hammer-down time, it is just like somebody threw another 7.3L under the hood. Good thing I drive it nice.

I had it on the dyno again yesterday.
1200+ degree EGTs don't agree with a ruptured HPO line that happens to blow 3000 PSI oil all over the turbine housing. Good thing it happened in the shop when we had fire extinguishers handy. I'm able to maintain 2850-2900 PSI and still make 375 HP. Torque is down though by 100 ft. lbs. That's cool with me though.

Here is a recent picture.
Bill was generous enough to let me swap from my "Aero" front end which included the big headlights and chrome bumpers/grill to the "work truck" fascia. Chrome and white do not go together and I wanted to go for the all-white, monochromatic look anyway. His red truck now has some "bling". Thanks Bill!! Here's the beginning: Bill also took his new 6.0L to the dragstrip on Friday night. I tagged along in mine and made 5 runs. That was my first experience EVER on a dragstrip (ignore the reaction time ) This was as fast as I think I'm going to get until I go with some aftermarket "oil". This run was at about 2.85 ms of injector PW ( ~2.0 ms actual) and my HPO was starting to suffer at 2700-2800 PSI. If I could get an additional millisecond out of it without tanking on pressure, it would be a fun (and faster) ride! My run is the LEFT LANE. The right lane was a newer (06 or so) Mustang that ran pretty strong. Also keep in mind that Bill and I both had MAJOR traction problems off the line. Wheel spin kept us from doing any kind of "boosted" launches so the 60' and E.T. really suffered.
